OUR SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY
Living in harmony with the earth we borrow from
Sustainability is a conscious lifestyle choice that we are working towards at Transformative Ventures —and a cause we wish to take further.
Rooted in Ayurveda’s reverence for the balance of air, water, earth, fire and space, our approach is to make practical and mindful choices across ingredients, testing, packaging, manufacturing and logistics —with care for people, animals and the planet.

01 Products Inspired by Nature
We offer a choice of all-natural products rooted in traditional Ayurveda as well as modern products which combine Ayurvedic herbs with clean synthetic ingredients and have a natural origin index of over 90%. All our products are tested on multiple safety parameters.
Natural & Clean
Our flagship brand – iYURA– offers 100% natural products rooted in Ayurveda. Other brands – A. Modernica Naturalis and Ajara contain over 90 percent natural-origin ingredients. They combine ancient Ayurvedic herbs with modern ingredients. We carefully choose our clean synthetic ingredients and use them only when required for a higher degree of stability, performance and product experience. We formulate as per stringent European cosmetic guidelines, leaving out chemicals harmful to humans and the environment.
Not Tested on Animals
No animal testing has ever been conducted on any of our personal care products and never will be — we only conduct human trials for skincare and haircare products.
Responsibly Sourced
We hold our supply chain to the same standards we uphold for ourselves — always seeking the most responsible partners.
Safety of Users
We don’t believe Natural is always safe. Our R&D team ensures we work only with high quality, safety-tested ingredients, whether natural or synthetic. All products are manufactured as per high GMP standards and go through heavy metals testing, testing by dermatologists for safety, consumer evaluations or dermatologist approved clinical tests.
02 Thoughtful Packaging
iYURA products use 100% glass bottles.
Most of our packaging is recyclable.
Each iYURA oil is packaged in an elegant glass bottle and vibrant Madhubani artwork directly sourced from artisans, and further developed by in-house designers, bringing beauty and culture into every consumer’s hands through a signature look.
Our packaging is PFAS-free, manufactured without intentionally added perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances also known as ‘forever chemicals’. These chemicals are highly persistent and do not break down easily in the environment or the human body.
Madhubani art has existed in India’s Mithila region for centuries. This art form combines elements of natural ecosystems and depicts harmonious coexistence of people with Nature.
Our single-use patches and masks are 100% biodegradable.
03 Continuous optimization without compromising on quality
We believe sustainability is a journey in which every improvement should have measurable and practical impact.
The safety of our users is our first priority and with evolving technology, we would be able to achieve our environmental goals without compromising on the product experience.
We haven’t figured it all out, but we are making honest progress towards a net zero-impact future.

Our work on sustainability spans the full product journey — from a clean ingredient policy, to packaging optimizations, to manufacturing efficiency and transport.
2024–2025
We formalized a more stringent ingredient and fragrance policy charter for all personal care products.
As a part of our commitment to health, safety and environmental protection, we do not add 60 ingredients to our personal care products.
2024–2026
Removed paper inserts, optimised sizes of mono cartons (secondary packaging).
Saved 6.4 metric tons of SBS (solid bleached sulphate) paperboard which is equivalent to 109 trees.
Eliminated shrink packaging film from monocartons of A. Modernica Naturalis & iYURA, thus preventing 2.4 metric tons of PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) film from going to landfills.
2025
Energy used per batch reduced from 108.00 kWh to 81.82 kWh.
Transport shifted from road to rail, reducing CO₂ per trip from 230.4 kg to 76.8 kg.
Total Carbon Footprint Reduction in FY 2025
37.7
